Our designs incorporate passive solar orientation, super insulation, and options to produce electricity and hot water from solar. We would like to work with you to design and build a finely crafted energy efficient green home. As builders we have made a commitment to renovate homes in a manner that will make them as energy efficient as possible. We work with energy auditors to carefully test the home for air tightness, determine the amount of installed insulation, assess the condition of the heating system, and evaluate the overall performance of the structure. Based on the results of the audit we can then include proposals to improve the energy efficiency of the home. We are located on Georgetown Island in Midcoast Maine.
